SONOGENES is a first of its kind centre in Dhanbad & Jharkhand, offering fetal care services from conception to birth and beyond. Our vision is to create a centre of excellence in obstetric & gynecologic ultrasound & fetal diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Beginning with obstetric & gynecologic ultrasound & fetal diagnostic procedures, we aim to evolve into providing complete support to parents and families affected with genetic disorders in the form of genetic counselling and perinatal pathology.

In fetal ultrasound, our involvement with the baby inside begins and not ends with sonography and involves standardised follow-up in normal pregnancies and counselling regarding outcome and management in abnormal cases.

We also provide maternal serum screening for chromosomal defects like Down syndrome and other disorders in the form of Double marker and Quadruple marker screening.

In the event of abnormal findings on ultrasound and/or biochemical screening, we provide services for direct fetal testing in the form of Chorionic villus sampling and Amniocentesis.

Providing guidance about resources in cases requiring detailed peri-conceptional genetic work-up is part of our commitment; same holds true for babies requiring specialised neonatal care.

Reiterating our belief that no life is meaningless, we provide complete support to the couple, in cases of lethal fetal anomalies, in the form of liasioning with resources for complete genetic analysis and perinatal pathology-this is an invaluable tool in providing guidance for subsequent pregnancies.

Apart from the fetus and the pregnant woman, our expertise extends into gynecologic ultrasound. We believe in keeping ourselves up-to-date with the newest developments and guidelines in pelvic imaging so that accurate and meaningful information is conveyed to the patient and her treating doctor.

SONOGENES invites you on the journey to excellence in caring for the unborn.
